BM Balakrishna started Aquapot Company in the year 2011 in Hyderabad.
He was advised by his childhood friend to start RO based water purification business. He did not have any experience or knowledge about the RO water purifier business.
He had a very humble childhood, studied in a village in Andhra Pradesh.
He completed a diploma in Automobile engineering. His parents were small-time farmers and sold milk for additional income.
In 2001, he came to Bangalore with rupees 1000 (USD 14) to make a living. He joined a car service center working as a car washer.
He later joined CRI water Pumps as a marketing executive. After having worked for more than 12 years, he decided to do something on his own.
Aquapot Company has achieved a turnover of more than rupees 25 crores. It has Hyderabad’s most giant ‘RO Super Store,’ having more than 20,000 sq. ft.
Aquapot is an ISO 9001 certified company. It has more than 50 employees and other contractual employees.
It is adding new dealers & distributors to its network and has a pan India Presence.
