It is founded in the Year 2012. Nancie Weston and Travis Merrigan are the owners and founders of Grayl Water Bottle.
Nancie Weston had previously started another company, Raiin, to make similar kinds of products.
This Company started with the need for clean and safe drinking water available in the most remote village in the world. Founders were aware of the perils of plastic (Packaged Drinking Water) on our environment.
They desired to make a product that would work without any electricity and be super affordable.
According to some studies, it has been found that 780 Million people do not have access to clean drinking water.

Grayl Water Bottle wants to change how people drink water. It came into existence to solve two deadly concerns in our society: a) minimize the use of plastic bottles and b) provide clean and safe drinking water on the go without much effort.

The Company’s top management has spent endless days and nights in the remotest village and darkest place to understand the need to develop such products.
