Kotha Subrahmanyam is the Chairman & founder of Kumar Pumps. He started Kumar’s automobile at the age of 19 years in the year 1969. Later he established Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Engineering Works in the year 1971. In the year 1973, he started Kumar Piston Water Pump.
In 1981, the company began expansion plans to manufacture water pumps & motors and moved to Tenali Industrial zone. His nephew G. Seshagiri Rao joined the company after completing his studies.
Its working philosophy has always been to “No problem” performance. It has continuously upgraded technology and processes and skilled the staffing to stay above the competitor.
Kumar Pumps are majorly sold in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Bengal, Orissa & Assam.
